You are not alone
Feminist Killjoy
Being a feminist can be a lonely experience. Based on Sarah Ahmed’s feminist killjoy manifesto, the workshop imagines a Feminist-KIlljoy-App that connects and locates all the feminist Killjoys out there on behalf of connection, solidarity and sisterhood.
The workshop serves as a safe space for people who have been harmed by patriarchy and oppressive power dynamics.
The exercises enable participants to confront their experiences from a safe distance, in a space with other great folx, through reflective, esthetic and performative elements. The workshop leads into crafting together a collective manifesto of LOVE.

To think of killjoys as manifestos is to say that a politics of transformation, a politics that intends to cause the end of a system, is not a program of action that can be separated from how we are in the worlds we are in. Feminism is praxis.
